ATOPCON LAGOS STATE BRANCH VISITS NEWLY APPOINTED GENERAL MANAGER OF LAGOS STATE URBAN RENEWAL AGENCY (LASURA)

Even though it was a rainy and wet morning, the Chairman of ATOPCON LSB, Tpl. Dr. David Olawale FNITP defied the rain as he led a very strong team including the President of ATOPCON, Tpl. Bisi Adedire, FNITP on a courtesy visit to the newly appointed General Manager of LASURA, Tpl O.A.S Animashaun FNITP. In his usual felicitation messages, the Chairman reiterated once again the commitment of the State Branch to the agenda and mandate of the State Government and its agencies especially those within the Ministry of Physical Planning and Urban Development.

He congratulated the General Manager and noted that the appointment is definitely a round peg in a round hole.

Furthermore, he solicited for support and collaborations in ensuring that members of ATOPCON are engaged professionally in projects to be carried out by the Agency.

In his response, the GM appreciated the gesture of the State Branch and promised that the Agency which has been saddled with the responsibility of bringing back the glory days of Lagos Cities through regenerations and modifications will do her best in partnering with the Association and the members.

The high point of the visit was the presentation of a huge congratulatory card by the Chairman and the team.

Without doubt, it is a new dawn for LASURA and we are hopeful that the administration of Tpl. OAS Animashaun, FNITP would bring great transformation to Lagos State.
